Eto hindi mo to alam, pero noong araw, ipinagbabawal ng mga hari ang kape.
Sabi ng hari, “Pupugutan ko ng ulo ang lahat ng mahuli kong humihigop ng kape.”
Paano naman, paboritong inumin ito ng mga pilosopo, ng mga madyikero, ng mga makata.
Akala ng hari, tumatalino sila dahil sa kape, pero hindi ko alam.
Hindi ko alam, pre. Basta alam ko, masarap magkape.

[You don't know about this, but long ago, kings ban coffee.
The king said, "I will behead everyone I catch drinking coffee,"
as it was a favourite among the philosophers, the wizards, and the poets.
The king thought that they were becoming wise because of coffee, but I dunno.
I don't have a clue, man. All I know is that it feels good to drink coffee.]
